Who am I? – freelance marketing specialist
If you’re thinking about working with me, it makes sense to know more about me, so here goes. I’m Emma Mitchell (the “EM” in EM Marketing), a freelance marketing specialist based in Northamptonshire, and as you can see from my photo at the bottom of this page, I love a cuppa and animal print! I spent nearly 20 years working in the marketing department of a large blue-chip company. I’ve also managed visitor experience for several charities; I’ve run a small business, and I’m now using all that experience to help small businesses with their marketing.
I work as a freelance marketing specialist for businesses based in Northamptonshire and beyond that need experienced marketing support without recruiting a full-time employee.

Who I help
I help small service-based businesses join the dots between their website, email marketing, social media and other organic marketing activities to attract and engage customers without relying on paid advertising or constantly creating new content. I work with clients with businesses in different sectors and of all sizes, from sole traders to companies with more than 20 employees, who use me as their outsourced marketing department. Alongside ongoing support, I also collaborate on one-off projects or on an as-needed basis, providing flexible support tailored to each client’s needs.
